Ingredients
  • 1 clove of Purple Garlic
  • 50 gr Tomates Cherry
  • 2 can of sardines in oil
  • Fresh lettuce sprouts
  • 4 Tomato and Oregano Toasts
  • 50 gr Ham in cubes
  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Rice Vinegar
Step by step
  1. We peel the garlic clove, slice it, cut it into strips, and then cut these into small squares.

  2. We wash the tomatoes, dry them well so they don't release water, and cut them into quarters.

  3. Remove the stems from the parsley leaves and chop them finely.

  4. We will drain the can of sardines and, if they are very large, we will cut them so that they fit on the toast.

  5. To make the sauce to dress the toast, mix three parts oil with one part vinegar, add the garlic and parsley, and stir until it binds.

  6. FINISHED DISH:

On a flat plate or board, place the toast and on top of it place the sardines in a line.

  7. On top we will add the tomatoes and dress with our sauce.

  8. Finally, we will place some lettuce sprouts on the toast and dress the whole thing again.

The advice of

– To add a fresh touch to the toast, we can include lime zest on top or chopped fresh cilantro.
– For the toast, we can choose any bread we like and toast it ourselves at home. We grate some tomato to spread on top and add oregano.
– Instead of rice vinegar, we can use other types of Japanese-style vinaigrettes, such as shiso or balsamic vinegar. These will give the toast a sweet flavor that will contrast perfectly with the sardines.

Don't miss a thing!
