Easy
We peel the cloves of chestnut garlic and slice them thinly.
We slice the octopus leg into slices about a finger thick.
We put the flour in a deep plate, or in a bowl, and flour the octopus slices and the garlic slices on both sides.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add a good splash of oil.
When the oil is hot, fry the garlic slices and then the octopus slices until golden brown. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
FINISHED DISH:
On a flat plate, we place the octopus slices in the center of the plate and in a straight line.
On top, we drop the garlic slices, and lightly season the whole thing.

– In this case we have used a pre-cooked octopus leg to save time, but we can also cook the octopus ourselves at home.
– The garlic slices should turn golden brown, but not burnt, as they can develop a bitter taste and spoil our preparation.
– We can accompany the dish with a sauce such as a light aioli, a romesco sauce, a mango chutney…
