Ingredients
  • 50 grams of Spring White Garlic
  • 50 grams of white sugar
  • 50 ml of Water
  • 100 ml of Olive Oil
  • Juice of 1/4 of a lime
Step by step
  1. Peel the garlic cloves and put them in warm olive oil in a saucepan over low heat for about 15 minutes, until the garlic cloves are very soft.

  2. We remove the garlic cloves, well drained, with the help of a fork, and put them in a bowl, where we will crush them until we get a garlic puree.

  3. We put the sugar, garlic puree and water in a saucepan.

Let it simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat, until it has a syrupy consistency.

  4. Remove the mixture from the heat, add the lime juice, and set aside in a container.

  5. FINISHED DISH:

We put the garlic jam in a glass jar to preserve it better and all that's left is to start enjoying it with some toasted bread.

It's a jam that goes very well for breakfast with a good piece of toast, or as an appetizer on a slice of crispy bread with goat cheese.

For step 3:

Once we have all the ingredients on the heat, we will avoid stirring continuously, as the sugar will clot and crystallize.

For step 4:

It is important to add the lime juice last, so that the jam does not crystallize once it cools.

Don't miss a thing!
