Ingredients
  • 1 clove of white garlic
  • 1 Watermelon
  • 100 grams of strawberries
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Step by step
  1. We peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.

  2. We remove the stems from the strawberries, wash them and slice them.

  3. We clean the melon, removing the seeds and the skin, and cut it into rectangular cubes of approximately the same size.

  4. In a non-stick frying pan over low heat, to prevent burning, add the sugar and garlic.

  5. When the sugar is melted, add the melon and sear it on all sides.

  6. Add the strawberries, sauté and remove.

  7. FINISHED DISH:

On a flat plate we placed two cubes of melon separated from each other.

  8. On top of them, we placed some slices of strawberries and added a little of the syrup from the pan along with some slices of caramelized garlic.

The advice of

– While the sugar is melting in the pan, we will avoid stirring too much, as it can crystallize and not become syrup.
– The caramel should not turn a very dark color, as this means it is burning and will have bitter flavors.
This dessert can be served hot or cold. However, adding a scoop of ice cream and serving the fruit at room temperature makes it magnificent.

Don't miss a thing!
