Hello, hello! Let's get started with a sushi recipe to brighten our day! Did you know that the ingredient combinations are endless? We made carrot and garlic sushi, but you can add avocado, salmon, mango, shrimp... whatever you like! Grab your chopsticks, dip them in soy sauce, and enjoy!

Easy
We peel the garlic cloves and set them aside whole.
We peel the carrots and cut them into sticks of roughly the same thickness.
In a saucepan with boiling water and a pinch of salt, cook the carrots until al dente and drain.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add 5 parts water to 1 part rice and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the rice and garlic cloves. Cook for 8 minutes and then drain.
In a bowl, mix the sugar and rice vinegar until well dissolved. Drizzle the rice with this sauce and mix well.
On a board, we place a sushi mat and on top of it we place a sheet of nori seaweed.
We spread some rice on half of the seaweed and, in the center of this, we place strips of carrot and on top of that the garlic cloves (whole or sliced, according to each person's taste).
Using the mat, we roll up the seaweed, pressing it inwards with our fingers so that it takes shape.
FINISHED DISH:
We carefully remove the mat and, with a sharp knife, cut the sushi into bite-sized slices.
On a flat plate, place the sushi slices and serve with soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds.

– In this case we have made the Sushi with Garlic and Carrot, but we can make it with an endless variety of vegetables and fish, and even with some fruit.
– The rice used to make Sushi is very glutinous, so it rolls up and holds its shape easily.
Mirin rice vinegar is an essential condiment in Japanese cuisine, known for its sweet flavor. It is a mixture of distilled sake (shochu), cooked glutinous rice, and koji mold.
